Have you noticed that the days are getting longer now? It wasn't so long ago that it was dark by 5 p.m. but those days are behind now...until next winter! Daylight savings time starts this weekend - we're going to "spring ahead" an hour as we welcome the early days of spring. Don't forget to set your clocks ahead 1 hour when you go to bed Saturday night so you arrive at school at the right time on Monday morning!
Ms. LaBorde's cross-country skiing group has been hitting the trails hard this month. You should see everyone fly down those trails and hills! The weather has been perfect to strap on a pair of skis and get moving. Stop in to see Ms. Laborde anytime if you think you'd like to join us. We supply the skis, poles, transportation, and fun! Come and join us - it's an awesome way to help pass the winter!
New books are still arriving weekly so don't despair if you haven't found something that appeals to you. Check the shelves daily or ask one of your friendly librarians for a great book recommendation! We've got books on nearly every subject that you can think of - unicorns, yetis, monster trucks, snowboarding, ghosts, princesses, creating your favourite pizza, horses, bffs', and soooo much more. Check us out!
Ruth Betts Drama Club is proudly presenting the play, Rumpelstiltskin, Private Eye on Wednesday, March 14th at the Hiawatha Church. Meet us there at 6:30 and catch the funniest, fairy-tale ride of the season and it promises to be great fun for the whole family. We're looking forward to seeing you all there!
March madness means Spring Break Fever! The countdown is on until we break for a week at the end of the month. Are you adventuring off somewhere special, or like me, doing a relaxing stay-cation at home? Whatever you do and where ever your trails lead you, I hope you have an amazing time and enjoy each and every day. Keep those pages turning!
See you in April!
